I love reading books about kindness. As books are powerful tools to teach children about a variety of topics, I wanted to highlight kindness through Sami’s character in Speak Up Sami. I hope through my books, children are inspired to show more empathy to those around them and be compassionate and caring.

One kind act can cause a ripple effect and impact a whole community so we should all try our best to be kind every day.
